Our History

The K District is a small but agile creative design studio run by Katanni Bramhan. Together with our network of peers, we spend our days designing logos, print materials, advertising campaigns, websites and any other creative materials our clients may need. We deliver clear and flexible design solutions as well as creative direction to a wide range of clients in a variety of different sectors. Working directly with businesses, nonprofit organizations and anyone with a bright idea, we enjoy the collaborative process.

We love working with inspired businesses and individuals on diverse design projects. Using our creative energy to make you look awesome while improving your brand is what we do best.

We aim to make your branding dreams come true through aesthetically pleasing visuals and clear, concise messages to our clients' markets. We trivia to ensure your projects are on target, on time and on budget.

Katanni Bramhan comes armed with graphic design knowledge along with experience in web, marketing, customer service, social networking, retail, fashion, and event planning, giving her the edge needed to tackle virtually any project.

Her love of the arts started in her AP High School Art class and continued through her studies in Graphic Design and Advertising at Kean University, where she received her BFA in Fine Art in 2007. She then went on to receive a Certificate in Web Design and Interactive Media at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2010. She visits Kean University's Robert Busch School of Design whenever she can to mentor current students.

After working at a few agencies and marketing, she realized that she was much happier spear-heading projects and working with clients one-on-one, prompting her to start The K District along with several other websites and business ventures.

Clients and places she has previously worked her marketing and design chops include Aeropostale, Gucci, and Entourage Yearbooks. She has also volunteered her time at Jersey Cares and her church, helping them design their journals and yearbooks, and assisted with the organization of the Thinking Creatively Conference held by the Art Directors Club of NJ from 2006-2011. In 2007, she received an "Award of Appreciation" for her design, marketing and participation in various events held by Tau Kappa Epsilon - Tau Delta Chapter from 2004-2007.
